Mimi’s is in the undiscovered southwest of Puerto Rico

Called Porta del Sol, some consider this area the “other” Puerto Rico.The town of Guanica is a sleepy fishing village loaded with roadside eateries and a hopping weekend boardwalk.

Historic Ponce and San German have many museums, shops, restaurants and 600 year old Spanish architecture.

Panoramic Views

Parguera has a very busy nightlife as well as bioluminescent bay tours and fishing charters. Up in the mountains is the Maricao State Forest with a panoramic route where both the Atlantic and Caribbean can be viewed.

El Farro Lighthouse

All the way west is Cabo Rojo and the El Farro lighthouse as well as quintessential Boqueron Beach or Bahia De Salinas. The village has shopping, restaurants and roadside oyster shacks.
